They do feel higher quality that the go pro battery in the hand, and they are a higher capacity. Also, they feel like a better fit for the go pro than the one that comes with it. The stock go pro battery has to be jammed in to fit and it really difficult to remove. These Wasabi batteries fit in easier. It's not a loose fit or anything, it's just that you don't have to force them in or have lots of trouble to get them out (Why aren't the regular go pro batteries that come with the camera like this go pro?!) Plus add that they are half the price!Pro's: Half the price Last Longer Fit better (no hassle to insert or remove) Con's: ? If you need another battery get the Wasabi! If you order the kit with 2 batteries and charger for $21.99 you get a deal. Each battery is 10.99 so x2 = 21.98, so you basically get a charger for $0.01. And the charger hooks up to a wall... Nice packaging and the batteries and the charger seem well made. The batteries fit the GoPro camera better than the OEMs, being much easier to get in & out of the camera. I put a tab of mylar tape on all the batteries - necessary to removing the OEMs and a convenience for these Wasabi batteries. Blue Nook called me (!) to make sure everything had arrived OK and answered questions about how long to charge, etc. Great Service, great price and they are very knowledgeable about their products. They are 1400mAh (standard GoPro is 1100mAh), charge quickly, and are half the price (not even counting the price of the charger). The included charger makes life a lot easier as it comes with a car and European adapter to make charging while on the road possible. While at home, the charger plugs into any outlet allowing you to charge batteries without taking your GoPro out of its protecive housing and risk scratching that nonreplaceable lens.Blue Nook shipped the item very quickly and it was exactly as described. |
